Plant Health Care, Inc. (PHC) was established in 1994 to develop and market environmentally acceptable, biologically-based products for agriculture, horticulture, turfgrass, forestry and land reclamation industries.

The “plant health care” basic philosophy is that a plant possesses a natural ability to manage stresses throughout the growing season. The strength of this ability depends almost entirely upon the relative health of the plant: its root system. When plants are healthy and their growth is optimal, they are best able to manage stresses such as extremes in temperature, drought, insect attack, low or inconsistent fertility and disease pressures.

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States, PHC currently has operations in the US, Mexico, UK, Spain and the Netherlands with technical support in Austria. The company was listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in July 2004. Ticker symbol is PHC.
